After taking care of the morning house duties the truck loaded up and headed to Kentland for a drill, leaving an engine crew back at the station.  Along with crews from 33, 9, 8, 46, and the truck went over force-able entry techniques.  Inward and outward doors, roll up doors, bars and through the lock.  Crews brushed up on the basics along with sharing tips and tricks that aren't commonly taught in normal classes.  Although every company drills its this type of multi-company drills that are usually the most effective.  Different thoughts, different techniques and tricks of the trade, along with thinking outside the box allows every firefighter to find something they can put in their toolbox.  It is hoped to make this type of drilling a more regular thing in the future.  We would like to thank Nick Martin for teaching the drill and Kentland for hosting the drill.
