As the day was getting started the engine was alerted to Central Ave. and Shady Glenn Dr. in Company 8's area for a MVC with entrapment.  Engine 371 arrived shortly after units from 8 who found one patient trapped.  The crew deployed a safety line and assisted the squad.  The Engine returned to service in about twenty minutes.
