Yesterday around 1900 hours… members from 37 were in the firehouse when a 46 box was transmitted for a reported house on fire in unit block of Herrington Drive. Initially, no units were dispatched from Co.37 but in seconds the truck was added to the box as the third due truck. Truck Co.37 arrived as the first due truck behind the first due engine to find a two story split foyer with smoke showing and a fire in a basement addition. Truck Co.37 went to work splitting the inside and outside teams; throwing ladders, clearing windows as well as completing the primary searches of the basement and assisting with opening up and overhaul. The truck crew operated for a couple hours before returning to service….
