1ST DUE ENGINE ON 46 TOWNHOUSE

Just before 2030 hours, Engine 371 was alerted to the 2nd fire of the day in the 300 block of Harry S. Truman Drive. Due to the Engines location after clearing another call we were dispatched and arrived as the 1st due engine company. The Engine arrived on the scene to find a 2 sty middle of the row townhouse with smoke showing from the front door. The crew stretched the 200′ attack line to the seat of the fire located in the kitchen of the house and extinguished all visible fire. Crews operated on the scene for about an hour, checking for extension and ventilating the house before returning to service.
