1ST DUE TRUCK TO LARGO FIRE

Just prior to 730 the box alarm was sounded for a reported house on fire in the 100 Blk of Swiss Gap Rd in Largo. The first arriving engine company advised they had a two story townhouse with nothing evident however, after forcing entry moderate smoke conditions were found venting from the front door and eves. The battalion chief arrived, transmitting the working fire dispatch and crews went to work. The truck arrived as dispatched and immediately went to work, splitting into two teams working on the inside at the div 1 supervisor, while the outside team, threw ladders and placed the ladder to the roof.  Crews ultimately found a dryer on fire with some extension into the hall and quickly placed the fire under control. Crews operated for about 1 hour before returning to service.
