Engine Co.37 Runs First Due Fire

Monday 9/24/18 – At approximately 21:31, Company 37 was alerted for the Street Alarm (2 engines/2specials), with a reported shed on fire. The engine hit the street responding with 5 volunteers. While en-route, the box assignment was filled out due to multiple calls. The engine company laid out and arrived on scene to find fire showing from a shed and single wide trailer. The crew stretched the 150ft bumper line to make quick work of the shed and redeployed the line inside the trailer. Fire was found in the void space above the trailer and was extinguished. The incident was scaled down to 1:1, with the engine operating for 2 hours before returning to service.
